Chad, Niger Soldiers have entered Nigeria to fight Boko Haram
According to the Chadian military, army vehicles full of soldiers crossed the border into northeast Nigeria, on Monday, March 9.
Brigadier General Zakaria Ngobongue of Chad, revealed to AFP that his soldiers, alongside troops from Niger, had entered Nigeria.
He, however, declined to give details about the ongoing operation.
Meanwhile, witnesses in the Niger town of Bosso reported that about 200 military vehicles crossing over into Nigeria.
A resident, Adam Boukarna, said loud detonations was heard shortly after the deployment of soldiers.
