Prophet T.B. Joshua urged all Nigerian parties to cancel political rallies or face terrible consequences
Highly admired by many, Prophet T.B. Joshua urged all Nigerian parties to cancel political rallies or face terrible consequences, Nigeriafilms reports. Speaking yesterday at the Synagogue,
Church of All Nations (SCOAN) in Lagos,
the famous cleric also commented on
the possible attack on the Sheraton Hotel and on the rescue of girls abducted 3 weeks ago in Chibok by suspected Boko Haram members. According to the prophet, "Nigeria is
calm; it is the political parties that are
not calm... These political parties gave
birth to militants and Boko Haram." He reproached the opposing parties,
specifically PDP and APC, for talking
disagreements when more than 200
schoolgirls have not been rescued, and
gave the warning: "They should suspend all rallies and
acrimonious campaigns. It is this
division that gave opportunity for
hoodlums, militants and Boko Haram to
explore and exploit... If our political
class does not stop their campaigns and rallies and put aside the name of parties
- APC, PDP, Labour - to come together to
discuss as Nigeria, these people will turn
against them. Any moment from now,
you will hear of 'bigshots' being
attacked." T.B. Joshua appealed to Nigerians saying
they should not react to the dire actions
with fear, saying that fear and panic
help terrorists' operations. Meanwhile commenting on the
rumoured attack on the Sheraton hotel
in Lagos, as was made known by the US
diplomats days ago, Joshua described
the reports as an "expensive joke"
saying: "Whatever plan of evil in Lagos will be proved abortive! There is no
cause for fear or alarm." In conclusion the respected cleric told
the parents of Chibok abduction victims:
"Get ready to receive your children
back. Your children are coming home." It would be recalled that the popular
prophet was said to have predicted in November the dire attack in Abuja saying: "Our security should be vigilant. I am
seeing a very big strike - explosion.
They should take care of Abuja -
capital." Joshua reportedly made a prophecy about the second attack. Two explosion rocked Nyanya area of
Abuja within the period of one months:
April suicide bombing left 75 people
dead and hundreds injured, while the May Day attack has already claimed 19 lives (still a lot of victims are currently
in critical condition in hospitals).
